MAGINNESS CONDEMNS ATTACKS ON POLICE SDLP North Belfast MLA Alban Maginness has expressed his condemnation at the attacks on police in North Belfast on Monday and Tuesday night.
He said: “Those who carried out these attacks must ask themselves where they think this type of behaviour is going to get us. We have seen it all before and have witnessed the utter devastation that it caused to all members of the community. Do we have to repeat old mistakes?
“Those
who put lives at risk like this offer nothing positive to our
communities and a clear message must be sent to them that they
will not deter policing change or prevent the essential work of
police men and women.” |
