MAGINNESS CONDEMNS ATTACK ON ORANGE HALL SDLP North Belfast MLA Alban Maginness has condemned the paint attack on Carlisle Circus Orange hall last night (Thursday).
The SDLP Justice spokesperson said: “I utterly condemn this dreadful attack. We are attempting to normalise society and part of that normalisation is respect for institutions from both sides of the community.
“The renovations that have taken place at the Orange hall on Clifton Street are part of this process.
“It is so disappointing that there are some people in our community that object to this normalisation and our attempts to create a better, shared future for everyone across the North.” |
