MAGINNESS CONDEMNS ATTACK ON ORANGE HALL SDLP North Belfast MLA Alban Maginness has condemned last night’s attack on Clifton Street Orange Hall in the city. He said: “This is not political action by the crowd of thugs who carried out this attack, it is political vandalism. “The community was happy with the Orange Order’s recent decision to remove the protective steel cage surrounding the hall and this is the thanks they get. “Those who carried out this attack are trying to provoke a reaction and the local community will stand strong against them. “These
criminals will not be allowed to sabotage the agreed Ireland we
have worked so hard to achieve.”
