SDLP North Belfast MLA Alban Maginness has expressed his condolences
to the family of former North Belfast UUP MP, Cecil Walker, who
died suddenly today. “I
am sorry to learn of Cecil Walkers death and I extend my full
sympathy to his family. I knew Cecil for many years as MP for
North Belfast. Whilst we did not always agree politically I always
found him gentlemanly and well intentioned. He certainly had a
very firm commitment to peace and harmony in our community |
